Collection Two – An Ode to Feeling Blue: A Reflection on Loss, Love, and Cinematic Elegance

For her second collection, HORTI Creative Director Holly Simpson explores themes of love, loss, and healing, drawing inspiration from 1960s cinema, particularly ''The Umbrellas of Cherbourg''. Soft blue tones, deep browns, and ivories symbolize both sorrow and hope, while grey herringbone nods to British sophistication. Dedicated to her late Great Aunt June, whose eclectic spirit shaped HORTI, the collection reflects her love for meaningful accessories. This campaign, photographed by Rosie Marks, captures the strength and vulnerability of women, celebrating timeless, handcrafted, gender-neutral pieces that carry emotional significance, just like Aunt June’s treasured accessories.
